Before emerging as a marketing entrepreneur, Yvonne was Group Manager for Online Partner Marketing at Microsoft in Redmond, WA where she focused on Web portal marketing and improving the user experience.
 
She joined Microsoft after 22 years with IBM where her award-winning career as a territory sales rep and sales manager qualified her to lead the global relationship marketing strategy for IBM’s Software Group.

As an Integrated Direct Marketing® (IDM) and Consensual Opt-In Marketing® (COM) pioneer, Yvonne has been invited to present the real-life practice of both methodologies at numerous conferences for the Direct Marketing Association and the National Center for Database Marketing.

Her successful marketing results have been published
by The Marketing Leadership Council, Direct Magazine, and The DMA Insider. She is also a principal subject in two marketing texts by IDM and COM founder, Ernan Roman, "Integrated Direct Marketing" and "Opt-In Marketing" (the latter co-authored with Scott Hornstein).

Most recently, Yvonne was a Senior Marketing Strategist focused on building social media and Word of Mouth strategies that enhanced Microsoft's relationships with more than a million business partners throughout the world.
